Cathy Roberts

Whether you’re looking to buy or sell a home or property, you’re likely facing a big change. You want someone on your side who not only knows real estate transactions inside and out, but who also cares about her clients and guides them, step by step, through the process.

Cathy has 20 years’ experience in real estate and mortgage lending, along with deep roots in Franklin County. Cathy connects with her clients, actively and respectfully listening to what their needs are, and delivers results for them time and again.

Before she returned to her real estate career, Cathy spent 13 years as an assistant vice president and mortgage loan officer in the banking industry. She is considered one of the area’s most respected and successful loan officers. Cathy understands the complexity of the lending side of real estate transactions, and brings in-depth knowledge to both buyers and sellers.

Cathy covers Franklin and Hampshire counties in the Pioneer Valley of western Massachusetts, and handles a wide variety of properties and transactions, including antique homes, multi-unit housing, farms, village homes, cabins, land, commercial real estate, relocations, and estate sales.

Cathy and her husband John married in 1982, and built their home on 14 acres of land abutting the Deerfield River in the village of Shelburne Falls, where they reside today. Over the past 33 years they have raised pigs, cows, goats, chickens, cattle, and oxen on their mini-farm. Cathy grew up in the village and loves everything about living in rural New England.

In addition to her hometown knowledge, Cathy also enjoys working with clients from across the country and around the world, saying “I’m country-sophisticated!”
